Running Qbasic on Windows XP
Qbasic sometimes has problems with its graphics when running on a newer
computer with Windows XP. My main problem has been that it blacks out the
screen when the program ends and the only way to fix it is to restart the
computer. This only seems to happen on some of the newer computers because
I haven't had any problems on a Compaq Presario SR1730Z with XP installed.
If you have this type of problem or something else I would try a program called
"DosBox". It's a FREE Intel x86 PC emulator that is mainly used for running old
dos games, but Qbasic works on it well!
